I am also from Massachusetts and I was pretty much raised in Tampa. I don't like it down here, and I have to say that not all people from the North are rude and obnoxious. Especially people from New England, and listening to Dana for such a long time, I know she's not one of these people. I'm sorry that there are people that are so pathetic in this world that they would waste their time stalking you on a CPK posting board. I agree with the religious freaks comment maybe being a bit too harsh. Not everyone that believes in God or goes to church is a freak. And, not every person that is "religious" is judgmental or disapproving. But, I do agree that this woman is not exhibiting the best Christian characteristics. I'm not sure why politics came into the discussion, but just because a person supports Bush does not mean they are a terrible person. I am a Bush supporter, but do not consider myself hypocritical or judgmental or a religious freak. Just like you, I have picked a candidate who I think will best lead this country. That's it. It doesn't define who I am. I really like your page and the gossip. It's great to have it updated daily. Thanks!

There is nothing wrong with being religious.If you have been reading my posts you know this woman has an eBay profile about what a good Christian woman she is and how forgiving she is, etc. and yet she just left me bad feedback before even contacting me... And from there it has just escalated. She and I are both being immature about it and I'm cool with that lol... I find humor in things like this and I do believe she - and other Bush supporters - are pretty ignorant and that's my opinion.Please do not take things so seriously or take offense to things I say... and also remember that while I have opened this journal to everyone for comment - it's still my personal journal and I can write whatever I want in it. This is the first response that i have ever made in response to someone's journal. i don't mean to offend you at all. But i just see your struggle with this woman as a chance for you to spread compassion in this world. The only thing you can do as a person to stop the negativity of the world is to stop the spread of hatred. This back and forth will get both of you nowhere. It is a lot easier said than done, i know. i struggle with my own problems with people daily. Something has to start with each one of us. Don't let the object of a material posession (a doll) to stunt your growth and hinder your karma. Peace be with you sister.

And we wonder why some people are so down on religion.And to those who took offense to Dana's response...part of what makes America, America is that we are free to express and allowed to have our own opinions and guess what, they aren't always going to be the same. Dana, I hang my head in shame and disgrace - DAMN YANKEES!!!!! I am a Yankee fan and they suck - how do you win the first 3 games in a series and lose the last 4?! Maybe i'll become a Boston fan now! Sheesh!I'm not big into politics and I usually keep my mouth shut but a previous post mentioned Americans wouldn't want to do the jobs being shipped overseas anyway - actually that is quite wrong. I am a medical transcriptionist and our positions here are at stake - overseas countries claim they can do our job just as well for half of what we Americans charge. They're work is CRAP because they can't get past the language barrier and have no grammar skills, but that is not the only reason we are upset...they're is no privacy act in those countries, so our personal medical information is sent overseas and is not protected. Do a search on google and you'll see how it is a big problem... as a matter of fact, there was or is a lawsuit pending in California where an overseas transcription company claims they weren't getting paid and have threatened to post on the internet all of the medical records and personal information they have typed up!! It's not just medical transcription going overseas, it's medical coders and other professions as well... not just the work mentioned in that previous post. I hope this post didn't come off as a rant... it's not meant that way. I just want to help people to be more informed.Beckie
