No Subject LOL

So yeah... the dirt page sufferred today because I slept all day and then Ky and I were hanging out. Now she's asleep but I am tired and I'm about to go to bed. I am going to get up and update it before TK goes to work in the morning.

He is ok... but I have a feeling he might feel this pain from the accident for a while. His neck hurts, and from everything I've heard sometimes these things take a while to really set in - only time will tell if its a long-term injury. We are thankful it wasn't worse but it still sucks.

I am really excited that we can travel and see our families for Christmas this year. Last year we couldn't go anywhere... and this year I knew if I was working we'd end up having to stay here and have a "just the 3 of us" Christmas and I really wanted to go home... I'm not sure yet where we will be ON Christmas, but we'll figure it out and see both families around Christmas.

I also realized I need to start collecting ornaments. I have a few from when I was a kid - but I haven't had a tree since I moved to FL! I didn't get one the first year because I went home, and last year we moved 3 days before Christmas and it was just so hectic we never got one... I was a little upset but I was so tired from moving - and being 6 months pregnant - that I didn't feel like doing it anyway... I was looking at the Hallmark store at the mall and at Target and there are so many cute ones!!! One of the things that is so great about having Kyla is that that holidays are FUN again!!!

Yeah... still haven't decided what she'll be for Halloween!!! I think I am overthinking it and trying to come up with the BEST most ORIGINAL thing... I really want her to be a flower. I saw the CUTEST costume at TRU and I just think it'll be adorable... the only other one I really loved was a flamingo costume I saw online but I can't find it in stores and its too late to order it... So she'll be a little flower. I liked the idea of Tinkerbell but all the costumes are too big - and I think she has the rest of her childhood to be Tink or a princess or whatever she wants... so this year she should be a cute little flower... or maybe a butterfly... GOD I DON'T KNOW!!!

What do you do with your kids on Halloween?? I know she is too little for candy but do the malls have Trick or Treat or anything? If I am going to dress her all up in a costume I need to show her off!!

Thanks for all the advice on being a SAHM... I just don't want to bore her lol... Babies love repetition I guess and she has some toys that she LOVES. Lately she is going after the TV remotes like crazy though!! I used to babysit when I was younger but it was always for older kids who got bored quick and needed constant attention... Ky is a perfectly happy little girl so I should just chill out and follow her lead.

She has this new toy that plays a song... and the song reminds me of "What would Brian Boytano do...." from the SouthPark movie. Every time it comes on I just get that freaking lameass song in my head!!! It's a little Fisher Price truck with those blocks... I can't exactly remember the name of it... but she LOVES it!!

OH - and now... my copy of Toy Story on DVD has something wrong with it. Half the movie plays and then it just stops and freezes... so I went online to get a new copy of it and its VAULTED!!! No Toy Story right now... It'll come out when she's 10. Thank the Lord for eBay - I'll try to get it but I am so scared of getting screwed or of getting bad feedback!!

How about them SOX!?! Now, granted they are still a game behind and the chances of them winning 2 more in a row to make it to the World Series are pretty slim - but at least they started playing baseball!!! The end of the game was awesome tonight!! I thought it was bad and then the Hou/Stl game was on and they had a 0-0 score until the end in extra innings!!

I think that's about it... I am sleepy. I need to get my hair done this week but now I don't have a car. If it's not one thing it's another!!
