Don't Worry D*ana, I got your back on this! You know what I mean. I cannot believe this chick now has the nerve to try to go through paypal. I thought paypal was supposed to be secure... well I purchased a $550.00 TV Monitor for my car, and never received it. I used paypal as my payment, and never received the TV. Well since everyone says Paypal is secure, I filed my dispute through them. Today, after 17 days, They contacted me and said they believe the seller is at fault, BUT THEY REGRET TO INFORM ME THAT THEY CANNNOT RECOVER ANY OF MY FUNDS. That's great, i am trying to raise a one year old daughter, and now I am out $550.00. So don't worry about Paypal trying to reimburse that lady and let her keep the doll. They will probably laugh in her face like they did to me. I deserve my money back, but she definately does not! Well I am done with my ranting. I hope all goes in your favor with the dispute, I am sure it will!~*~ Sara ~*~
WOW I can't believe that!!! I am so sorry you are out all that money. What happens is they can't take the money out of your bank account... so if the seller gets your money and then transfers it to bank account PayPal can't do anything about it. They freeze the funds right away - that's what they just did to me - and then they refund the buyer once the dispute is settled... So right now since I had money in my PayPal balance they froze the amount in question. She has to pay to ship the doll back to me. I emailed her to tell her I am happy to have little Abagail back in my loving home and maybe she didn't want to leave me anyway LOL... Ebay sucks.
