Kyla's First Christmas!
There she is playing under the tree! I tried to get some big smiles out of her but she was waayyyy more interested in turning around to go for the ornaments so I had to snap 'em while she was looking LOL.
We had a nice dinner at home last night for TK's birthday... nothing too exciting. I wanted to do more but I have no money - and we are saving for Christmas presents!
I am watching the Grammy Nominations right now... All these people are there to hear themselves nominated. It seems like there are more people there for the nominations than there are for the actual show!!
I have started watching "All My Children" again... I used to watch it when I was younger, and now that I'm home all day I figure I might as well! I am confused about the baby swapping thing though, so if anyone watches it, please explain!!
There haven't been many comments lately, I am wondering if people are still reading this LOL... I haven't posted any drama lately so maybe you're getting bored. Do I need to start a fight with someone to get you interested again??
Anyway... what are you asking for for Christmas... and no need to say you want World Peace, etc... because while that would be nice, it ain' gonna happen and I want to know what material things you want.. Because I know we all want stuff!!!
I want a Soft Sculpture Cabbage Patch Kid, Target or WalMart gift cards so I can buy the new CPK outfits when they come out after Christmas, curtains for our apartment, clothes, Black Ugg Kalie shoes, that's about it... I wanted a digital camera but TK thinks his parents got him one for his birthday LOL... not sure if they did or not but if he has one I can use it :)
I am going to make some lunch.

I still read. :)
I think we're all busy w/ Christmas.
That must be it.
My Christmas List:
Cute pair of jeans
Tennis shoes
to have Jessica Simpson's body instead of my own :D
OMG....I LOOOOOOOOOVE that picture of Kyla playing with Santa's hat. I read your journal about a thousand times a day....I will miss you when you go home. For Christmas I want lots of clothes, new makeup brushes,MP3 player or and lots lots of money. Lol
The pics. of Kyla are so cute. I love the journal. I am always checking to see if there are any new entries throughout the day. Glad things are getting better in SC. I have lived in Tampa my whole life and I still don't have a Mommy Group. For being there only a couple of weeks you are doing good to already have made some friends!
For Christmas I want: a pair of SEVEN jeans (I hear they make the bootie look awesome), a digital camera-preferably the Canon, a CHI flat iron just in case I actually have time to fix my hair ever again (still adjusting to life with a new baby-5 months later! LOL) and I actually bought myself a couple of presents at Nordstrom's the other day. I wanted the MAC holiday sets but they were selling really fast and I know my husband would probably go out looking for them on X-mas Eve, so I went ahead and saved him the trouble and bought them for myself!! Then I went back and bought 3 more for my nieces. They make great gifts and I love making one stop for multiple gifts, esp. when I am shopping with my little one.
I would be perfectly happy if I didn't get anything on my list, though. I am just happy to have a healthy little boy and to be able to spend time with my family for Christmas. SOOO cheesy, I know-but it's the truth.
I still read the journal just don't always have the time for comments! Good to hear things are going a little smoother in SC. It will be nice for you to take a "break" and spend time with family I'm sure.
Like others have also said I'm not sure what I want for Christmas. Well, there I things I want, but then there is reality! Really, and I think other mom's would agree, the best gift would be "me time".
Oh, astiles, the best toys for kids your baby's age is anything with buttons to push! Unfortunatly that also means lots of toys that make noise. The batteries do run out......eventually and at this age they don't know any better so you don't HAVE to replace them!
