CHEERIO FACE.
Kyla LOOOOOOOOVES Cheerios! And bananas!
So I have probably delayed her eating development by being too scared to give her people food... the whole chewing with no teeth thing weirds me out... but anyway, I've been trying.
She is now at the point where she likes to feed herself with her fingers. She won't take much off a spoon, and if I give her the spoon to do it herself, she tries to take the mush off the spoon with her fingers LOL... Oh, and she nods "NO" at me and closes her mouth too! SUPER BRATTY!
So yesterday I tried giving her some mashed up banana on the spoon. No go on that.
So today I cut the banana up into pieces... and put it in front of her... and she ate it! It was hard because the banana is slippery and she ended up going nuts trying to pick up the pieces, but she was content so I just let her go for it. And she loves Cheerios too.
Well yesterday I was too tired so I didn't go get glasses... so we're going today. TK is coming at lunch time to pick me up and then I'm off to Lens Crafters. It has been 5 years since I had my eyes checked and got new glasses. Yes, I am more than overdue! I think having bad eyes and rarely wearing glasses (except when I drive!) is giving me headaches. I'm not sure what kind I want though... I am not a big fan of glasses but contacts will be a huge pain in the arse for me.
I gotta get Kyla in the tub now that she is covered in sticky banana residue LOL... she is so bratty in the tub lately. It makes me nervous.. she squirms around and tries to get into a crawling position! I really want to get one of those blow up tubs that you put in the real tub. She always decides she wants to stand up right after I get her all soapy... then I have to get her to sit down.. or I end up plopping her on my lap and rinsing her with a drippy wet cloth... and then I get drenched!!
Anyway, that's all that's going on here... I updated the dirt and haven't found much else since I went to bed last night. I might miss a few things here and there but oh well...
Oh, and the situation I have been waiting to hear good news on... nothing. It's pretty unreal but I'm pretty sure the truth will come out sooner or later.
:)

It's so fun when they starting trying to feed themselves! Messy, but fun. You might want to try one of those baby tub seats for Kyla. They worked great for my kids. They can still splash in the water but you don't have to worry about them falling over and hitting their head on the tub. And you don't have to constantly hold on to her during bathtime.
My daughter is bratty too. She is at the age where she knows she's doing something wrong and looks right at me with this smirk on her face while she does it! Oh, and the high pitched screaming! Gotta love girls!
