I am up at 6am!!

This SUCKS. I slept on the couch last night. Won't get into why... but the alarm in the bedroom went off at like 5am and I couldn't go back to sleep so here I am...

Gonna try to go back to bed in a minute but just wanted to write quick.

Kyla and I had a good shopping trip today. Well, I didn't really get much... just a few things we needed like spaghetti sauce, baby food, and a little bath seat for her...

But I don't know how this bath seat is going to work. She's SO SQUIRMY in the tub I have to do something to hold her down. She is too big for the baby tub, and too big for the sinks, so I have to put her in the tub... but she wants to move around so much and once she is all soaped up, she tries to stand up and refuses to sit back down. I end up holding her in my lap and rinsing her off... and water gets EVERYWHERE!

So I got one of those little tub seats that hangs over the side of the tub... but on the box it said not for babies who can stand up, or 10 months or over, so that's where she's at. I hope it works and she sits still, but I have a feeling she won't. If not, I'm taking it back and getting one of those little blow up tubs that you put in the real tub.

The other thing that bugs me about taking a bath is the bath toys... she likes to eat them. I put them in the water and I'm cleaning her so there is soap and stuff all in the water and she puts the toys in her mouth. And I saw this thing once on some TV news freak you out health watch about baby bath toys and how much mold and stuff grows in them, so now it freaks me out. I clean her toys and rinse them out but still, all that water gets in them and water attracts germs and mildew and mold... EEW!!!! It grosses me out just thinking about it.

OK so speaking of baby food. I think I have issues. Members of my family can attest to the fact that I ate baby food until I was about 12 years old. Then they started putting peas in the kind that I liked and I wouldn't eat it any more. Well, now, I have started liking baby food again!!! Just one kind. It's Gerber Stage 3 Chicken noodle dinner... and it's YUM. Kyla wouldn't eat it last night... I don't know what her deal was but she gobbled up the green beans and her zwieback toast but wouldn't eat the chicken noodle stuff... so I had a bite of it to see if it was like totally gross or something... and NO. It tastes like the stuff I used to like!!! So I scooped it into my own bowl, heated it up some more, added a dash of salt, and ATE THE WHOLE THING!! YUM YUM YUM. I know, I'm weird... but I like it!!

I think I need to go back to the eye doctor. My eyes have been hurting since yesterday. They were fine the first few days I had my contacts in. I didn't wear them on Saturday since I didn't go anywhere... but yesterday I think I might have put one in backwards or something but I flipped them around and couldn't tell the difference. And I wore them again yesterday since I was driving and even though I can see much better, my eyes hurt. Maybe they are just dry? I don't know. I had the hardest time putting them in so maybe my eyes got irritated... If it isn't one thing its another!!

OK I am going to try to get a little bit more sleep before Kyla wakes up.
