Madonna Tries to Illegally take Boy from Malawi

Madonna was so excited to adopt a little boy from the African country of Malawi, she tried to bypass the system in order to get him home faster. Apparently there are months of screening families must go through in order to adopt, to protect the children, and Madonna tried to just take the boy home with her...

She was "in tears" leaving him behind when she was told she could not yet take him from the country.

Now according to People Magazine the boy is in London and Madonna and Guy have been granted custody for the next 18 months while they go through the process of officially adopting him.
