Jess & John just got back from their romantic getaway to Australia... actually, Jess is back, John stayed behind to finish up touring (be with groupies)...
They just make me think of a rainy day... I don't know if it's the fact that she's so "dark" now that she's with him or what... They're just so dreary!
I know they're not doing this on purpose, but Jessica and John kind of look like they're trying to be incognito. He very rarely has facial hair and he's got sunglasses and a hair a little more feathered than usual... and Jess has the nappy dark brown hair, hat, and sunglasses... At least she's not wearing BLACK again!
He is so freaky looking... and she's getting more and more freaky looking. I guess they are happy though, this has lasted a lot longer than I thought it would.
I just find this amusing... John Mayer & Jessica Simpson were out at a bar the other night and they met some fans and posed for pictures with them. Maybe he's bringing her down to earth a little bit?
I still don't see what they have in common... and he seems like he's a total nerd and he also seems to be pretty smart... what could they possibly talk about?

She says it hurt her to see Nick with other women right after they split up, she decided she wanted a divorce while watching The Notebook, and she says she can't say a word about her new life with John Mayer...
Although Jessica Simpson says she's "so happy right now," hearing about her ex-husband Nick Lachey hooking up with other women shortly after their split felt like a stab in the back. "Oh, it hurt me. Two or three weeks later? Yeah, I'd say it kind of hurt me," she says in an interview in the March issue of Elle.
Jessica says she made the decision to file for divorce in December 2005, after three years of marriage, while watching The Notebook on a plane ride. "I just figured out the statement...It was about that moment of desperation. I needed to breathe."
But she doesn't wish she'd never shared her life with Nick. "I'm happy I was married. I'm happy that he was in my life. I have no regrets," she says. In fact, she still keeps in touch with him! "He's so much a part of my life, how could I not be? Any guy that's going to be with me from this day forward has to understand that."
Regarding the latest man in her life, John Mayer, she says, "I want to tell you everything, but I have to sew my lips together." Asked if she's in love, she grins coyly, saying, "I didn't say yes."
I don't buy this. They are totally "posing" for the camera. This whole thing between them is contrived. I just don't see what she would really see in him, he's got a serious rep for being a sicko with "groupies" - I've gotten more than a few emails from girls who have experienced "the icks" with John Mayer.
I love his music but he creeps me out... and I can't imagine Papa Joe is into this, although he likes anything that keeps his ho in the spotlight.
